This course has been developed to accommodate students who have expressed an interest in completing and submitting a portfolio for AP and college credit. Through this course students fulfill the requirements of the College Board standards for studio art by completing a portfolio including the Concentration and Breadth sections along with Quality art works. The course follows the College Board's AP Studio format and through extensive studio work in drawing, painting, and design students expand their two-dimensional design skills and advance their visual communication skills. This is the highest level studio art course designed to challenge students to work on a college level.
