Painting
Painting I-IV are upper level painting classes that concentrate on specific areas of painting. Media used include acrylic, watercolor, tempera, and oil. These are structured art studio classes utilizing what has been learned in Into to Art 2D/3D, along with Elements and Principles of Design, and taking these practices to a higher level. Students explore different artists and art history to learn about different styles and techniques. Students develop advanced skills in figure, still life, perspective, and abstract/non-representational painting.
